Pre-Purchase Property Inspections
A property inspection/builders report from Incheck Ltd can help take some of the uncertainty out of your next home purchase in the knowledge that the property is being checked by an experienced builder/inspector for any visual defects. Banks, lending institutions and lawyers now prefer to see a building report as part of a property sale and purchase agreement. The building inspection report helps to determine how sound the building is and what might need to be repaired.
Incheck Ltd can also carry out meth and asbestos testing with lab analysis reports provided.
Building inspections are carried out in line with NZ Standard 4306:2005.
Tim has over 40 years of building and construction experience and he has inspected over 2000 properties in the last five years. Tim is also the inspector of choice for many of the real estate agents and there families when they are buying there own properties.

What will the property inspection report give me?
A property inspection report is a non-invasive visual report. It will detail things such as the visual condition of the foundations/piles, the roof and guttering, any defects such as cracks in the cladding, the quality of insulation, and any detected moisture – all the things you would like to know to make a sale possible.
Will the report tell me what I should do with the property?
No – we will give you written details of our visual inspection of the property. We can provide further information of any defect detected and we can advise you about any specialist you may need to investigate any issues.
What do I do if the report shows problems with the property?
Incheck will provide you with a detailed report so that you can make an informed choice, but the decision is yours. We can make sure you talk to the appropriate specialist if necessary.
